Just as we approach the end of the period in which we thought we were going to get super fast broadband, there has been another delay, and we're now looking at some time in August before the service goes live.
BT encountered problems with the fibre spine into the area between Hexham and Prudhoe. On top of this further problems have arisen which are outside BT’s control and which were not expected when we the initial timescales were set.
It's disappointing to discover this at this point, but we'll just have to wait a little longer.
